Ladies n Gentlemen.. my first ever trek to Himalayas was to Tapovan..its the Shivling Base Camp...the trek starts from Gangotri town...u walk to Bhojbasa...were u hav a night halt at GMVN or a Tent... next mornin go to Gomukh...its the face of Gangotri Glacier..and sad news is that its receding back, because of climate change...Damn this pollution....but hey, the worlds approaching, to another ice Age, so it may not be so bad news after all...And from Gomukh u proceed to Tapovan crossing the glacier n climbing up a steep moraine...with an undefined path....n then bak to Bhojbasa....
along with me was somak...one fellow from Southindia... 3 othr people... whom we met on the way.... a Giude named Joshi...helped us on our way.... so here it goes...
our first halt on the way to Gangotri was at Uttarkashi...the town looks like this.....
Nex mornin we moved towards Gangotri town...on the way....
Harsil falls on the way... well known for its Apple orchards.....

n then comes the end of the trip...
our guide Joshi...n his cute lil kids... the kiddo was absolutly on top of the world when we gave him the jumbo packet of Chocolate.... the happinesss n expressions on his face were sme of the purest n honest u wld ever see....

And thats the end of the trek...... u pay less compared to what u get to see.... its all the magic of mighty Himalayas... once u here u ll always wanna come bak...... n me still goin strong... every opportunity i get i try to explore the Mighty Himalayas.... trust me ITS ALL WORTH IT.....
